We use this moss in addition to sponges for creating humidity. The moss smells earthy and crabs love it. Our larger crabs prefer hiding in a mound of moss instead of squeezing into the hut. Over time they eat it or dig it into the substrate. Thank you Hermit Crab Patch for high quality products!
